For Mondeo S-Max Galaxy Steering Lock Emulator Overview:
The device emulates the Ford ESCL unit, compatible with Ford CD4 platform cars (Mondeo, S-max, Galaxy, etc) starting from 2014 and up.
The original SCL number looks like AVON-3F880-Kx, connector has 4 pins, usually colored blue.
The Emulator is plug & play, no alignment is necessary.

For Mondeo S-Max Galaxy Steering Lock Emulator Installation on Car:

• Stop the car.
• Plug the connector into the Socket.
• Note that the original SCL is powered only when there is a request for status or command for open or close.
• Push the START button, and the GREEN LED must blink, if the RED LED blinked then there is an error you have to clear it with a diagnostic tool or you can reset the car by plugging out the battery and plugging it in again.
• Repeated the last step until the GREEN LED blinks. the Emulator is Successfully Installed.

For Mondeo S-Max Galaxy Steering Lock Emulator Light Behavior:

Led on Emulator:
RED SCL is in a locked state
GREEN SCL is in an unlocked state

Pinout:

• PIN 2: +PWR (switched)
• PIN 3: GND (switched)
• PIN 4: LIN

Note: That LOCK action is performed with delay:
Ignition is switched OFF, doors closed and locked, car folds mirrors (if there is such functionality), then LOCK action is executed.
UNLOCK action is usually executed when a car is unlocked or IGN switched on.
All these actions must power on SCL, corresponding status LED must go on.
