New to the battery test? Don't worry at all! Autel BT506 provides detailed and step-by-step instructions, just follow the indicators on the screen, and you can finish the battery diagnosis easily.
1. In-car Testing: Battery Test: With clear instructions on the screen, you can perform a battery test.
Battery test results include a color-coded result summary, and a list of test data such as SOC, volts tester, metering capacity, and repair tips.

Start-up test: Follow the on-screen instructions, start the engine, and let it idle.
The test results of the cranking system are then displayed on the screen which includes the starting voltage, start-up, and start time.

Alternator Test: By testing the generator, technicians can check the load voltage/current, no load voltage/current, and ripple.
The live test result on the screen will tell you whether the charging is normal and whether there is a problem with output or ripple, which helps to avoid damaging the battery and shortening its life due to overcharging or incomplete charging.
2. Test outside the car:

Question: Does this work for a 2009 Honda Accord?
Answer: This works with any 12V battery.
Question: Will this work for MS906TS with VCI v100 and register the battery?
Answer: It will work but will not register the battery, you will need a more advanced version like BT608.

Works Great.
The great automotive battery tester works with my phone and my Autel scanner.
Does battery test in or out of the vehicle, complete charging and starting system test, and tests the auxiliary batteries.
It works very well
A few months back I did buy a battery from Autozone when I got the battery tester.
The first thing I did was check and see if was good and up it had a charge bud that was low and battery health was at 55%.
I did return the battery and got another in good condition so it saves me some money it did pay itself right away
