NXP Smart Key Adapter P/N: MCKB005 For Toyota 2018-2022
The MCKB005 Universal NXP Key Programmer Adapter is a solder-free interface board built for Toyota smart key remotes. Rather than soldering flying leads onto delicate test points, you seat the key PCB into the 05-FT02-V3.0 fixture, close the two adjustable clamps, and the spring-loaded pogo pins make contact automatically. It is designed for locksmiths and automotive key shops handling Toyota key adding work daily who need a fast, repeatable and damage-free connection.
The adapter supports all NCF29xx series chip remotes, covering the Toyota proximity smart keys used across the 2018 to 2022 model years. The board carries a printed key outline for correct alignment, a dedicated WAKE contact point, and all required lines broken out on two labelled pin header rows — VCC, MSDA, WAKE, GND and MSCL — plus a multi-pin connector socket for ribbon cable hookup.
Key Features
- Fits all NCF29xx chip remotes – one adapter covers the Toyota NXP smart key range for these years.
- Zero soldering – gold-plated pogo pins contact the PCB test points directly, no heat or flux.
- Twin clamp fixture – two adjustable screw clamps hold the key board flat and correctly aligned.
- Dual labelled pin headers – VCC, MSDA, WAKE, GND and MSCL broken out on two rows for flexible hookup.
- Dedicated WAKE point – marked directly on the board for remotes that need a wake-up signal.
- Printed key outline – the PCB footprint is silk-screened on the board so positioning is obvious.
- Connector socket included – on-board multi-pin socket for use with a ribbon harness.
- Stable and repeatable – even clamping pressure means fewer failed reads and fewer retries.
- Workshop ready – supplied in a protective clear storage case, ideal for mobile jobs.
How To Use
- Open the Toyota smart key shell and carefully remove the remote PCB.
- Place the PCB into the 05-FT02-V3.0 fixture, matching it to the key outline printed on the board.
- Swing both clamps over the board and tighten them so the pogo pins press firmly on the contact points.
- Wire the labelled VCC, MSDA, GND and MSCL pins to the matching terminals on your programming device, or use the on-board connector socket.
- If your tool calls for a wake-up signal, connect to the point marked WAKE on the board.
- Run the key adding procedure and follow the on-screen prompts through to completion.
- Loosen the clamps, lift out the PCB, and reassemble the key.
