Important Advice!
1- Locksmith Tool: This is a universal aftermarket remote. It is completely blank and will not work out of the box. It is intended for professional automotive locksmiths.
2- Generation Required: Before this remote can be used, it must be "generated" to mimic a specific BMW vehicle's remote frequencies and software using a KEYDIY device (such as the KD-X2 or KD-MAX).
3- Vehicle Programming: Once the remote has been successfully generated using the KD tool, the remote and its transponder chip must still be programmed to the vehicle's immobilizer system via OBD2 to start the car.
