Important Advice!
1- Blade Swapping: It is possible to swap your original blade into this new shell, but it requires knocking out a small pin (roll pin) that holds the blade in the flip mechanism. If you are not comfortable doing this, we recommend having the new blade cut by a locksmith.

2- Spring Mechanism: When transferring your electronics, be careful with the spring mechanism. You will need to wind the spring (usually one counter-clockwise turn) before snapping the case shut to ensure the key flips out correctly.

3- Transfer Electronics: You must transfer the internal green circuit board AND the battery from your old key. The transponder chip is usually integrated onto the board in this model.

No programming is required as you are using your original electronics.
