Connect to the network
Lonsdor K518ISE car key programming software system will automatically update to the latest version.
There are 3 ways to update the system:

1. One Key Update: Quick update of newly added or modified functions.
2. APK Update: Used when updating the APK.
3. Force Update: Used when the device is faulty or to retrieve data.

Lonsdor K518 BMW Update

BMW CAS4 / CAS4+ main software supports:
Programming by OBD for CAS4 (5M48H, 1N35H)
Direct and fast pre-operation for CAS4 (5M48H, 1N35H)
Fix RKE and PKE failure issues via OBD

How to Register Lonsdor K518ISE as the best key programmer?
After updating the system, you need to go to registration and activation.
for the new user,
click register,
Input: username (email), name (minimum 2 characters), password (minimum 6 characters), email verification code
Click Yes
Lonsdor K518 Key Programmer Registration Complete
(If you are interrupted after completing registration, you will go to System Update - Registered User to continue).
Then go to Confirm Activation to continue.

How to Activate the Lonsdor K518ISE car key programmer tool?
After confirming the activation, you will go to the password setting interface
Set 6-digit numbers as startup password
Information Verification by Lonsdor
(5-30 minutes, you can check the progress by clicking "Update")
Re-enter the password to verify
Get notification of successful verification
The whole process is completed before using the machine.

Most important note:
1. The username must be a working email address, so you can receive the Lonsdor verification code via email.
2. Please pay attention to the difference between the registration password (minimum 6 characters) and the startup password (6 digits), the former
It will generally only be used when registering, so please enter the 6-digit startup password into memory, as it will be required whenever you start the device.
3. The account will remain associated with the corresponding device for life, other accounts cannot log into your device and your account cannot login To either registered or activated device.
4. An account can be used to connect multiple new devices.
Here I take the lost Toyota/Lexus smart key as an example.

1. Binding
   
   1. Go to the "Bind emulator key" function
   2. Turn on the emulator key and put it into the K518ISE key slot (put the status indicator down, make sure the key is active)
   3. Follow the system direction and click OK to start linking
   4. After the linking is completed, the system will indicate "Linking Success".

Note:

The KPROG adapter is specialized for part of the new Volvo and Maserati series of cars at present, and we are still working on developing more car models that the adapter can support soon, Like the Jeep Grand Cherokee, please refer to our website or go directly to "One Key Update" for the latest news.

1. EEPROM Backup Data
   Connect the Lonsdor K518 key programmer to the vehicle's OBD port, and enter the "Backup immediate" to back up the data.
2. Make the Emergency Simulator Key
   After selecting the immo data, in the network environment, the system will indicate to choose the corresponding SKE emulator key model.
   Please start the key and put it into the K518ISE key slot (be sure to activate the key), follow the instructions to create the emulator key.
3. Add a Smart Key
   Click the car start button, put the generated SKE simulator key near the start button, the car will automatically activate.
   The system will read the current number of keys, and then follow the instructions to add a key.
   
   1. "Emulator key binding" can determine the binding state of the SKE emulator key
   2. The SKE emulator key needs to bind to the K518ISE host and can only be linked one time
   3. When making the emulator key, make sure the network is connected well and choose the corresponding SKE emulator key model correctly.

Step 1. Connect the transformer to the K518ISE with the mainline
Step 2. Connect the K518ISE to a 12V power source
Step 3. Enter "Setup"
