Question: Can I use OBD for A4L from 2013 to 2018?
Answer: No. A4L 2013-2018 need to read BCM2 data via Audi free solder adapter, while A4L before 2013 can get BCM2 data by OBD and don't need a data set.
Question: Can I read BCM2 data directly with solderless adapters?
Answer: The Audi kit-free solderless retrofit kit consists of 6 parts.
Its main component is the orange BCM2 adapter.
As long as this adapter is available, BCM2 data can be read by soldering wires, but the adapter is currently not sold separately.
